Are the meditations guided?

Apart from the brief instructions given at the beginning of the service, the meditations are not guided. Those interested in learning the SRF techniques of meditation are encouraged to apply for the SRF Lessons.

At the beginning of the Calgary Meditation Group 11:00 am Sunday Service a short description is provided to participants on how to meditate.

Is the meditation group handicapped-accessible?

Unfortunately, the Calgary Meditation Group is located on the bottom floor, accessible by stairs only. Please let us know if you might need help with the stairs.

Is there any charge for meditation services?

There is no charge for attending services. On Saturdays and Sundays, there is an optional offertory that helps cover our operating expenses, and allows us to assist in the worldwide humanitarian work of Self-Realization Fellowship. In addition, there is a donation box at the entrance to our chapel where individuals can donate as they wish.
